Quickbooks is part of Intuit is also a tax preparation company. Quickbooks is trying to get customers to move every to their cloud. I believe they would have too much information and could use it to move clients to their other companies. ALSO the cloud is being hacked and it is only a matter of time before the Intuit cloud ie, QuickBooks is also hacked.
